Senior Project Manager - Cleared Professional Services (Cleared Group)
Reports To: Senior Delivery Manager – Head of PMO
Location Remote (ACT, NSW or VIC), with travel to client and cleared sites as required.
Employment Type: Permanent, full-time
Clearance & Eligibility: Australian Government security clearance (NV1 minimum; NV2 desirable)
Remuneration: Competitive, commensurate with experience; senior project delivery role with a billable delivery component

Role Purpose
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of complex Professional Services projects from initiation through to closure.
Working within Cleared's PMO, the role is accountable for managing scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks and stakeholder expectations while ensuring all projects comply with Cleared's delivery framework and governance standards.
This role works closely with the Senior Delivery Manager – Head of PMO to ensure projects are delivered consistently, professionally and with a strong focus on customer success.

Key Accountabilities
Project Delivery

• Lead multiple concurrent Professional Services projects from initiation through to completion.
• Deliver projects on time, within scope, budget and quality expectations.
• Develop project plans, manage schedules, resources, dependencies and milestones.
• Facilitate project kick-offs, governance meetings, status reporting and project close-out.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary delivery contact for customers.
• Build strong relationships with clients and internal delivery teams.
• Provide clear project communications and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Escalate issues appropriately while maintaining customer confidence.

Governance & Commercial Management

• Apply Cleared's PMO methodology and governance standards.
• Maintain project documentation, RAID registers and reporting.
• Manage project budgets, forecasting, resources and approved changes.
• Monitor commercial performance, including utilisation and delivery outcomes.

Risk & Continuous Improvement

• Identify and manage project risks, issues and dependencies.
• Develop mitigation strategies and support informed decision-making.
• Contribute to improving delivery methodologies, governance and best practices.

Skills & Experience
Essential

• 7+ years' experience delivering complex IT infrastructure, cloud or enterprise technology projects.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong project management, governance, budgeting and resource management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience managing project risks, issues and executive reporting.
• Ability to work independently in a consulting or professional services environment.

Desirable
Experience delivering projects involving:

• Cloud, virtualisation and enterprise infrastructure
• VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
• Networking, storage and automation
• Defence or Government environments
